Bison Take on ENMU Saturday

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist, fresh from a thrilling overtime win against Adams State, battles Eastern New Mexico in Portales at 2 p.m., Saturday.
 
OBU claimed a 3-2 double-overtime win in the season opener Thursday against ASU after falling behind 2-0 early. Felipe Robertson, Jesus Andrade and Italo Vichiatto scored for the Bison while Martin Romero, Alejandro Castillo and Jonathan Martinez earned assists.
 
After a pair of goals, keeper Parker Lawter settled in and had one save while the Bison defense suffocated the Adams State advances.
 
Eastern New Mexico is 1-0 after dispatching Southern Nazarene in Portales, 3-1, Thursday. The Greyhounds got goals from Gabriel Peres, Fernando Lozano and Lucas Vez.
