The Lady Bison contested the top-25 team well, taking all three sets deep in a 25-22, 25-21, 25-20 setback.

Malia Leatherland led with 10 of OBU's 38 kills with
Mikayla Watson and
Nicole Fleitman pitching in seven apiece as
Jenna Gremmel collected 28 assists.

Kelsi Chavez and Watson each had two aces.

Defensively, the Lady Bison got 27 digs from
Delayna Mills and 10 from Watson while
Brecken Roquemore and Destiny Temple got in on two blocks each.

OBU had an 8-4 lead in the first set, but the Bronchos took the lead for good with a 10-4 run.

The Lady Bison owned a 15-11 lead in the second set, but UCO used an 8-1 run to build a 19-16 lead and held off a late OBU run to take a 2-0 lead in sets.

Now 2-3, the Lady Bison head to Florida for a weekend tournament in Daytona Beach. OBU plays Bentley Friday at 9 a.m. and Eckerd at 3 p.m. The tournament concludes Saturday with matches against Florida Tech at 3 p.m. and Embry-Riddle at 7 p.m.
