SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist outdoor track and field will compete at the Baylor Invitational Saturday in Waco, Texas.

The meet will begin with field events at 10 a.m. at Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium. Running events are scheduled to start at 2:45 p.m. All other schools competing at the event are Division I opponents, including Abilene Christian, Baylor, DePaul, Incarnate Word, Minnesota, Oral Roberts, Oregon State, Prairie View A&M, Southern Methodist, Texas Southern, University of North Texas, UT-Arlington and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Bison men have met three NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standards during the outdoor season.
Saleem Fadel was named Great American Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his performance in the hammer throw. His throw of 195' 6.5" (59.60 meters) was the eighth-best throw in Division II this year.
Nathaniel Worley has also met a provisional standard in the high jump, clearing 6' 8.25" (2.04m).

Leah Molter swept the hurdles events at the OBU Invitational, winning the 100-meter hurdles in 14.11 and the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.63. The performance earned her GAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors.
