SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist, for the third time this season, will take a home doubleheader on the road due to weather.
 
The Lady Bison will play their scheduled home game at Southwestern Oklahoma State Friday at 2 p.m., then complete the series with a 2 p.m. doubleheader in Shawnee Saturday.
 
Shawnee has an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms Friday. Rain and winds also are expected in Weatherford, but to a lesser degree.
 
The Lady Bison are 14-20 this season and 11-15 in the Great American Conference.
 
OBU bats .295 as a team, led by Kristen Grabin at .391. Cheyenne Demaree leads the team with 23 RBIs and Dani Manning has a team-best 11 home runs.
 
The OBU staff earned run average is 4.72, led by Katie Long, who is 6-5 with a 3.56 earned run average.
 
Southwestern is 6-30 this year and 6-20 in the GAC. The Bulldogs have a team batting average of .287 and an earned run average of 8.37.
 
Kinsey Skroh leads SWOSU with a .390 batting average, while Sidney Kirk has provided eight home runs and 24 RBIs. Rileigh Ricken leads the team with a 7.07 earned run average.
