Bison Wrap Up at Drake Relays Saturday

DES MOINES, Iowa – (Results) Oklahoma Baptist men's track and field wrapped up competition at the Drake Relays Saturday afternoon at Drake Stadium.
 
The Bison met two NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standards on the final day of competition and hit four qualifying marks for the meet.
 
Sayvon Milton, Dillon Phillips, Carlos James and Shirvante Knauls placed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay final with a provisional qualifying time of 3:11.74.
 
In the hammer throw, Saleem Fadel also met a provisional qualifying mark at 190' 4" (58.03 meters). He finished in 15^th place.
 
A team of Micah Brewer, Clayton Honeycutt, Brandon Crowley and Devontrae Young entered the 4x200-meter relay but did not finish due to a disqualification.
 
OBU will compete at the Oxy Invitational, hosted by Occidental College in Los Angeles, in the final regular season meet of the outdoor season on May 12.
