Lady Bison Finish First Day in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa – (Results) Oklahoma Baptist women's outdoor track and field wrapped up competition Thursday at the Drake Relays.
 
The Lady Bison had three athletes compete at Drake Stadium on the first day of the three-day meet.
 
Senior Abby Hoover placed 13^th in the seeded 5000-meter run with a time of 17:14.85. Sydney Lawrence took 22^nd place in the unseeded flight of the event in 17:52.39.
 
Tesa Potter finished 19^th in a stacked field in the 1500-meter run, finishing at 2:13.04.
 
Competition will continue Friday and wrap up Saturday. OBU will compete in four relays over the next two days and Leah Molter is scheduled to appear in the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles.
