SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist wraps up the home portion of its schedule this weekend with two special events and three rivalry games against Southern Nazarene.

OBU's annual Strikeout Cancer Game is Friday at 6 p.m. The team's pink game jerseys and other items will be auctioned with the funds going to the American Cancer Society.

Saturday's 1 p.m. doubleheader also honors the eight seniors playing at Bison Field at Ford Park for the final time. Those eight are

The Bison have clinched a spot in the Great American Conference Tournament, which starts in Enid on May 5. OBU could conceivably move into second with a sweep of SNU and key series wins by other schools.

The Bison are 25-15 overall and 17-10 in the GAC. OBU bats .315 as a team and brings a 4.69 earned run average into the final three games of the regular season.

Berghammer leads the Bison with a .401 batting average while
Zane Gelphman has 15 home runs and 44 runs batted in.

Probable starters for the weekend are Yarbor (5-3, 4.48 ERA),
Caleb Bly (5-1, 3.51) and Fowler (7-3, 4.57).

Southern Nazarene is officially out of postseason contention at 11-27 overall and 7-22 in the GAC. The Crimson Storm bats .274 with a team ERA of 7.50.

Cole Wagner leads SNU at .358 and with 26 RBIs. Expected starting pitchers are Ryan Mills (3-7, 6.72), David Gustafson (5-6, 6.50) and Jefferson Harris (1-5, 7.96).
