SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist track and field will compete at the Drake Relays starting Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.

OBU women return to the track for the first time since winning the program's first Great American Conference Championship. The Lady Bison won nine events and set six new GAC records.

Tesa Potter is scheduled to run the 800-meter run Thursday afternoon and
Abby Hoover and
Sydney Lawrence will compete in the 5000-meter run Thursday evening.
Leah Molter will run both the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles. OBU is entered in four relay events, including the 4x100-meter, 4x200-meter, 4x400-meter and the 1600-meter sprint medley relay.

Molter has the 14
th-fastest time in NCAA Division II in the 400 hurdles at 1:00.85 and the Lady Bison own the No. 15 time in the 4x400 relay in 3:47.13. Mitchell, Mayfield, Barnes and Van Der Westhuizen comprised the relay team.
