Bison Wrap Up Thursday at GAC Championships

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – (Results) Oklahoma Baptist's Davey Cleveland is fourth at the midway point of the decathlon Thursday at the Great American Conference Track & Field Championships, hosted by Southern Arkansas at the Mulerider Track and Field Complex.
 
Cleveland, a sophomore from Prague, finished the day with 2813 points through five events. Senior Kolten Speaks is sixth with 2505 points. Howard James of Harding leads the decathlon with 3476 points.
 
Cleveland took third in the 100-meter dash in 11.59 seconds and was third in the 400-meter run with a time of 54.33. Speaks finished fifth in the 400 at 55.92.
 
The decathlon will conclude Friday, beginning with the 110-meter hurdles at 10 a.m. Field events begin Friday at 1:30 p.m. with distance running closing out the day at 6:30 p.m.
