SHAWNEE – Zane Gelphman hit his Great American Conference-leading 15th home run in Oklahoma Baptist's 13-1 win over East Central at Bison Field at Ford Park Tuesday.

OBU scored eight runs in the second and five in the fifth for the mercy rule win and a 5-0 sweep of the season series with the Tigers.

In the second inning, Josh Timms singled, stole second and scored on a double by Jake Gozzo to open the scoring. PJ Harris added a two-run home run. Juan Gonzalez added a two-run single and Gelphman punctuated the rally with the three-run home run.
