SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist returns to Great American Conference action this weekend with a three-game series with East Central.

The set begins with a 2 p.m. doubleheader Friday at Bison Field at Ford Park and continues in Shawnee Saturday with a 2 p.m. doubleheader.

OBU is batting .308 as a team, led by
Juan Gonzalez with a .394 batting average.
Zane Gelphman has a league-leading 11 home runs and leads OBU with 30 runs batted in.
Jake Gozzo enters Friday with a 14-game hit streak, which is tied for the best streak by an OBU hitter in the NCAA era.
Josh Timms also achieved that mark last season.

The Bison, 20-14 overall and 13-9 in the Great American Conference, have a team earned run average of 4.79.

Bryce Dimitroff leads the Tigers with a .367 batting average while Trevor Crone has six home runs and 23 runs batted in.
