Lady Bison Add Two on National Signing Day

SHAWNEE – Owasso High School seniors Zoe Jennings and Allie Morton joined the Oklahoma Baptist women's track and field team on National Signing Day Wednesday.

"I chose OBU because I felt that this is where God was calling me to be. I really love how welcoming everyone is and I love the academics and athletics because the team is very dedicated and strives to be their best in and out of the classroom," said Jennings.

Zoe is the daughter of Libby and John Rodden and she attends First Church of Owasso.

Morton, a 5-2 Owasso native, lettered all four years in track and cross country for coaches Blake Collins and Steve Parker. She competed on two cross country teams that finished in the top five at State.

"I chose OBU for the Christian-based atmosphere and the opportunity to run. I felt welcome and at home when I visited the campus," said Morton.
