SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist plays its first home games Friday and Saturday at No. 12 Southern Arkansas after rains forced the series to move from Magnolia, Arkansas.
 
Non-conference tournaments and uncooperative weather conditions had seen OBU play all 12 games on the road.
 
The Lady Bison are batting .275 as a team, led by Dani Manning .355. Hailey Seago leads the squad with two home runs and Bry Flanagan has nine RBIs.
 
Amanda Peterson is 2-0 with a 1.31 earned run average to lead the pitching staff, which carries a team 4.59 ERA.
 
Monica Islava is batting .462 to lead SAU, which hits .338 as a team with 29 home runs. Brooke Goad is batting .417 with nine home runs and 25 RBI.
