SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist indoor track and field will compete Friday and Saturday at the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kansas, and also send athletes to the UCO Broncho Open in Norman Saturday.

At the Gorilla Classic, field events will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Robert W. Plaster Center, with track events following at 4 p.m. Saturday's track events are set for an 11 a.m. start and field events will get going at noon.
All events at the UCO Broncho Open will take place at the Mosier Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. Track events get started at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with field events at 11 a.m.

The Lady Bison have met the provisional qualifying standard in four events this season.
Abby Hoover owns the eighth-fastest 5000-meter run in 16:54.81 and
Sydney Lawrence is No. 16 in the same event with a time of 17:16.49.

Leah Molter owns the No. 28 time in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.79 and a relay team of
McKae Mitchell,
JoziRose Mayfield,
Breanna Hurlbut and
Kya Barnes ranks 11
th in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:50.58.

Saleem Fadel is No. 26 in the weight throw with a distance of 59' 10.5" (18.25m) and
Hayden Ashley ranks 13
th in the heptathlon at 5077 points.
