SHAWNEE – Weather continues to wreak havoc on the Oklahoma Baptist softball schedule, this time with the cancellation of the UAM 9-State Classic in Arkansas.

Foul weather has taken away six of the 12 scheduled games.

OBU will instead play Fort Hays State at 2 p.m. and Rogers State at 4 p.m. in Claremore Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Bison are 2-4 on the season and hitting .270 as a team.
Dani Manning leads the team with a .533 batting average with Cricket Grabin batting .400.
Bry Flanagan leads the team with five RBI.

Katie Long is 2-1 with a 1.24 earned run average to lead the pitching staff, which has a 4.57 team ERA.

Fort Hays is 2-5 on the season. Candace Bollig leads the Tigers with a .409 batting average while Hailey Chapman has a 3.09 earned run average. As a team, FHSU is batting 2.75 with a 7.27 ERA.

Rogers State is 6-4 after sweeping a doubleheader against Northwestern Oklahoma State. The Hillcats are hitting .290 as a team and led by Allie McFetridge at .424 while Danelle Day has swatted four home runs and has 11 RBI. Tallie Redding has a 3-0 record and a 2.07 earned run average. RSU carries a 2.96 team ERA into the games.
