Bison Fall on Last-Second Shot in Alva

ALVA, Oklahoma – A 3-point shot in the final second of the game by Northwestern Oklahoma State saddled Oklahoma Baptist with their first Great American Conference loss of the season as OBU fell, 78-77, on Saturday in Alva.
 
The Bison led by five heading into the final two minutes, but saw their lead shrink as OBU went 2-of-4 on free throw attempts in the final 27 seconds.
 
Antonio Wade led the Bison with 19 points and seven assists, while Davion Turner and Dishon Lowery each finished with 17 points. Turner was dialed in from beyond the arc, converting 5-of-7 3-point attempts.
 
Oklahoma Baptist (2-4, 1-1 GAC) return to Mabee Arena at the Noble Complex on Tuesday, Dec. 4 when they take on East Central at 7:30 p.m.
