SHAWNEE – Autumn Avina scored 28 points, but visiting Rogers State had the answers late, outscoring OBU 19-14 in the final period to take a 78-74 win Saturday at the Noble Complex.
Mikayla Shulanberger added a season-high 16 points for OBU, while
Charissa Price tallied 15 points on 5-8 shooting from three-point range.
Katy Custer recorded a near double-double with nine points and a team-best eight rebounds for the Lady Bison, who fall to 3-2 on the season.
OBU opens Great American Conference play on Thursday, Nov. 29, against Southeastern Oklahoma State. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Noble Complex.
