TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The game was competitive to the end, but the OBU men's basketball team eventually came up short, falling 82-72 to Northeastern State in Tahlequah Monday night.
The Bison took a one point lead into halftime, 38-37, but shot just 35.7 percent in the second period, including 5-17 from three-point range.
Antonio Wade led OBU with 18 points, while
Dishon Lowery recorded a double-double with 10 points and a team-best 14 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass.
Davion Turner and
Julian Daughtry also contributed 13 points apiece on the night.
The Bison have an extended break over the Thanksgiving holiday, returning to action Nov. 29 in a Great American Conference matchup against Southeastern Oklahoma State in Shawnee. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the Noble Complex.
