SHAWNEE – The Bison were dominant in head coach
Jason Eaker's home debut, dismantling Manhattan Christian, 119-71, Saturday afternoon at the Noble Complex.
OBU shot 63.5 percent from the field as
Davion Turner led six Bison in double figures with 24 points. The transfer from UT-Arlington also chipped in eight rebounds and two blocks.
The Bison were dominant on the glass, outrebounding the Thunder 56-26.
Dishon Lowery led the team with nine boards to go along with nine points, and
Mohammed Abubakar grabbed eight rebounds.
All 12 Bison logged minutes in the contest, as Coach Eaker's bench outscored the Thunder reserves 61-22.
OBU travels to Tahlequah on Monday, Nov. 19, for a 7 p.m. matchup with Northeastern State.
