SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist starts its final tournament of the season Friday at 7 p.m., taking on host Harding in the Great American Conference Men's Soccer Championship in Searcy, Arkansas.

OBU is the fourth seed in the tournament and has a 4-14 mark, which includes a 2-4 record against the league.

Harding swept the regular-season series, winning 3-0 in Shawnee and 4-2 in Searcy. The Bison had leads of 1-0 and 2-1 in the latter game with goals by
Jesus Andrade and
Andrew Simon.

Andrade and
Alejandro Castillo lead OBU with 11 points each. Andrade has a team-best five goals to go with one assist while Castillo has four goals and three assists.
Alec Young leads OBU with four assists.

Parker Lawter leads OBU with 88 saves.

Harding is 9-5-1 overall and finished the GAC 4-2 to take the regular season conference crown.

Christian Ramos, Jason Diaz and Jack Savage lead HU with 12 points each. Ramos has a team-leading five goals, while Diaz and Savage both have four goals and four assists.

Michael Wasson leads Harding with a 1.30 goals-against average and has 47 saves.

Friday's other semifinal match at 4 p.m. sends Ouachita Baptist against Southern Nazarene. Friday's winners play in the championship game Sunday.
