Lady Bison Start Arkansas Trip Thursday

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist starts its Arkansas trip Thursday with a match at 1 p.m. in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, against Ouachita Baptist.
 
The Lady Bison sit atop the Great American Conference standings at 6-0 with an 8-4 overall record after shunning Southwestern Oklahoma State from a share of the conference lead in Weatherford Saturday, 2-0.
 
Oklahoma Baptist scored a 2-1 win over Ouachita Baptist in Midwest City in September. Ruth King and Emmily Infante had a goal and an assist each in that contest.
 
King leads OBU with nine goals and three assists for 21 points. Kerregan Edwards has three goals with three assists for nine points.
 
OBU has out-shot opponents 211-120 this season.
 
Emily Griffith has a 1.18 goals-against average to go with 39 saves.
 
Ouachita Baptist is 5-6 overall and 3-3 in the GAC. Ashlyn Heckman leads the Tigers with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Erin Webster has played all 990 minutes in goal for Ouachita with 72 saves and 1.73 goals allowed per game.
