SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist faces its toughest home game of the season Saturday as No. 5 Ouachita Baptist visits for a 1 p.m. contest at Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Memorial Athletic Complex.
 
The Bison are 2-4 after a 56-21 loss at Henderson State last week.
 
Preston Haire averages 279.2 yards passing per game through six games this season to lead the Great American Conference. His yards per game are 13th nationally. His 27.5 completed passes per game are second in NCAA Division II. He has completed 58.9 percent of his passes for 1675 yards and 14 touchdowns. Those TD strikes rank 15th in the nation. He also is the team's No. 2 rusher, getting 20 yards on the ground per game and leads the GAC in total offense at 299.2 yards per game.
 
Cagney Roberson leads the Bison receiving corps with 40 receptions and 460 yards. His 6.7 receptions per game leads the GAC and is 17th in NCAA II. He averages 76.6 yards receiving per game. Jacques Henderson and Josh Pettijohn have four touchdown receptions apiece. Noah McGraw has 22 catches of 290 yards.
 
OBU is getting 375 yards total offense per game and have allowed three quarterback sacks this season. They have kept Preston Haire's jersey clean in four of six games this year. Center Zach Blevins, guards Creede Wright, John Kent Calhoun and tackles Jake Foshee and Brian Cornell have started all six games. OBU is fifth nationally in sacks allowed.
 
True freshman Tyler Stuever leads the Bison with 52.2 yards per game and three of the team's four rushing touchdowns.
 
Connor Watts handled the punting duties at Henderson State and unloaded two punts of more than 50 yards, including a 61-yard effort.  He pinned three punts inside the 20. Luke Wendl has five field goals this season, including two of more than 40 yards and a long of 45.
 
Robert Lolofie has three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks to lead OBU in those categories from the defensive line. He ranks fifth in the GAC in sacks. The Bison have registered five sacks this season.
 
Josh Arnold leads the Bison with 59 tackles this season with 32 solos and 27 assists. His 59 takedowns rank fourth in the GAC and 37th nationally. Lane Martin is the third-leading tackler on the team with 38 tackles. Martin is 15th in the GAC.
 
Redshirt freshman Felipe Alvear leads the Bison secondary with 55 tackles through six games. He also has the team's only interception this season, 1.5 tackles for loss, four pass break-ups, a pair of forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He is sixth in the GAC in tackles.
 
The Tigers are 6-0 after holding then No. 19 Harding off from inside the 10 late in the fourth quarter for a 7-3 road win last week.
 
Kris Oliver averages 76 yards per game on the ground and has six rushing touchdowns while Brockton Brown has scored seven times. Brayden Brazeal has passed for 625 yards, completing 52 of 85 passes this season. Allie Freeman has 27 catches for 299 yards and the lone touchdown catch.
 
Airric Parker has 38 tackles and Keandre Evans has pilfered three passes for the Tigers. Dameyun McDonald leads the Tigers with 2.5 sacks.
