SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist embarks on its last Arkansas road trip of the season Saturday as the Bison face off against Arkansas-Monticello. Kickoff is at 3 p.m.
After playing three of its last four contests against ranked opponents, OBU's remaining schedule is one of three in the Great American Conference that has no Top 25 teams remaining on the schedule. Southwestern Oklahoma State and Harding are the other two. The four teams left on the OBU schedule are a combined 9-19.
Bison quarterback
Preston Haire averages 273 yards passing per game through seven games this season. Haire leads the GAC in passing yards and completions. He has completed 59 percent of his passes for 1911 yards and 14 touchdowns. Haire is second nationally with 26.29 completed passes per game and 11th in passing yards. He also is the team's second-leading rusher with 143 yards on 35 carries.
Fifteen different Bison have caught a pass this season with four players averaging better than three receptions per game.
Cagney Roberson leads the Bison with 45 catches, 545 yards and 77.9 yards per reception. He is second in the GAC and 16th in NCAA II with 6.4 receptions per game.

True freshman
Tyler Stuever leads the Bison with 58.6 yards per game and five of the team's seven rushing touchdowns. He has rushed for 410 yards this season.
OBU, which has faced three Top 25 teams in seven weeks, averages 374 yards total offense per game and puts the ball in the air nearly 30 times per game. OBU's offensive line is third in the nation in sacks allowed at 0.43 per game. OBU has allowed sacks in just two of its seven contests this year. Center

Brian Cornell have started all six games. OBU is fifth nationally in sacks allowed.
Robert Lolofie has 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks to lead the Bison in both categories. He is fifth in the Great American Conference in sacks per game at 0.58.
Josh Arnold has 62 tackles this season, including a team-best 33 solo stops. He has 62 tackles for the season. Arnold is tied for sixth in the GAC with 8.9 tackles per game.
Redshirt freshman
Felipe Alvear leads the Bison with 64 tackles with 32 solo and 32 assisted takedowns. He also has OBU's lone interception and leads the team with two forced fumbles, five passes defended and four passes broken up. Alvear is fifth in the GAC in tackles at 9.1 per game.
OBU is one of 31 teams that have not allowed a blocked kick and one of 99 to have not allowed a blocked punt. The Bison also are 20th nationally in kickoff coverage, allowing 16.4 yards per return.
Luke Wendl is 21-of-21 in extra points this season and 52 of 53 in his career. His current streak is 41 consecutive makes, dating back to a blocked kick against Southern Arkansas, Sept. 30, 2017.
After consecutive road wins, the Boll Weevils are 3-4. UAM shelled Arkansas Tech 34-16 and Southern Nazarene 35-12 after consecutive home losses to Southeastern and Harding. UAM is 1-2 at home this season.
Cole Sears averages 220.4 yards passing per game and has connected on 53 percent of his attempts. He has nine touchdown passes and only five picks. Six players have attempted passes this season and five of those have completed passes. DeAndre Washington is the top receiver with 19 receptions, 356 yards and four touchdowns. Imani Riley leads the team with 295 yards and 59 yards rushing per game. As a team, UAM averages 385.9 yards per game total offense.
Christian Jefferson leads the Weevils with 41 tackles. Brandon Young has 10.5 tackles for loss and Anthony Walker leads the team with 3.0 sacks. Jimel London has three interceptions this season. London has taken two picks to the house for touchdowns.
Special teams have been exciting with UAM blocking three kicks and also having three kicks blocked. Easton Seidl has blocked two kicks for the Weevils. Josh Marini has two field goals, including a long of 32.
