SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist indoor track and field is set to compete at the Pittsburg State Invitational Saturday in Pittsburg, Kansas.

The meet begins with track events at 9:30 a.m. and field events will start at 11 a.m. A final afternoon session of running events is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start time. All events will take place at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State.

OBU won a total of seven events and met one provisional standard at the UCO Invitational on Jan. 20.

Bison men have met two provisional qualifying standards this season.
Saleem Fadel owns the No. 19 distance in the weight throw this season at 59' 10.5" (18.25 meters) and
Hayden Ashley recently met the standard in the heptathlon with 4978 points.

Two Lady Bison individuals and one relay team have met provisional marks, including two top-10 times in the nation.
Abby Hoover owns the fifth-fastest time in the 5000-meter run in 16:54.81. A relay team of
McKae Mitchell,
Breanna Hurlbut,
JoziRose Mayfield and
Kya Barnes are sixth in the 4x400-meter relay at 3:50.73.
Leah Molter met the provisional standard in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.79, the 21
st-best time this season.
