SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist indoor track and field will send multi-event athletes to compete Thursday and Friday at the Mule Relays, hosted by the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Events will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, starting with the women's 60-meter hurdles. The pentathlon will wrap up with the 800-meter run Thursday evening around 7:30 p.m. Heptathlon participants will complete four events Thursday and finish the meet on Friday morning, beginning with the 60-meter hurdles at 10 a.m.

Along with UCM, other schools expected to compete are William Jewell, Missouri S&T, Drury, William Woods, Cottey College and Columbia College.

For the Bison, this will mark the first meet to compete in the heptathlon this season. The Lady Bison previously competed in the pentathlon at Wichita State in the Shocker Multi.

Isabella Lotz finished sixth at Wichita State, collecting 3091 points. Lotz had a third place finish in the long jump (17' 5.5").
Raigan Servati was 10
th at 2783 points, highlighted by a third place mark in the 800 meters (2:37.67).
Maggie Smith finished 11
th with 2583 points and earned eighth in the 800 (2:44.31).

Hayden Ashley is the reigning NCCAA national champion in the indoor heptathlon with 4935 points.
Andrew Worley finished runner-up at 4826 points and
Kolten Speaks was eighth after a final score of 3893.

Other indoor athletes will compete at the Pittsburg State Invitational Saturday in Pittsburg, Kansas.Â
