SHAWNEE – All five Oklahoma Baptist starters scored in double figures in a 91-78 loss to No. 13 Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday.

Shaylan Coleman had a career-high 23 points, followed by
Tasha Edge and
Lexi Williams with 13 apiece,
Autumn Avina with 11 and
McKenzie Cooper with 10.

Edge, who became the first Lady Bison with 1,000 NCAA points, also had nine rebounds. Avina had seven assists.

OBU led by as many as 12 in the first quarter, 20-8, but Southwestern scored the final six points of the first quarter and started the second with a basket to cut the Lady Bison lead to 20-16.

The Lady Bison led 34-33 at the half.

SWOSU scored 31 in the third quarter and led by as many as 10 before OBU closed the quarter on a 4-1 run and trailed 64-57 heading to the final frame.

The Lady Bison return to action Thursday, taking on Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Arkansas, at 5:30 p.m.
