HTML Box Score) Oklahoma Baptist suffered their first setback of the season Saturday, falling to Missouri S&T 1-3 (22-25, 30-32, 25-19, 19-25) at the Bahama House Classic.

The Lady Bison dropped a closely contested first set and a marathon second set that saw the teams combine to score 62 points. OBU forced a fourth set with a dominating performance in the third frame, collecting 13 kills on a .297 attack percentage. The Miners stormed back in the final set to secure their first win of the season.

Nicole Fleitman continued to perform at a high level, finishing with her third straight double-double to open up the season. She had 10 kills, 14 assists, seven digs and four block assists.
Cadyn Laing finished with 12 kills to lead the team,
Hayden Blair picked up 28 assists,
Sophia Couto had seven block assists and
Mikayla Watson paced the team with 19 digs.
