Josh Timms swatted two home runs and
Blake Whitehead took a no-hitter into the fifth inning as Oklahoma Baptist clinched a spot in the NCCAA Central Region finals with an 11-1 win over Randall Friday.

The Bison sealed the pool championship with a 6-2 win over Central Baptist.
Whitehead struck out 10 in his six innings of work, allowing an unearned run and one hit.
Brad Adams pitched a perfect seventh inning to finish the game.

The Bison scored once in the first inning on an error and Randall, formerly Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, tied the game with an unearned run in the second inning.

OBU took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth on an RBI ground out by
Dustyn Cook and an RBI single by
Brett Berghammer.

Timms added a solo home run in the fifth for a 4-1 Bison lead.

OBU exploded for seven runs in the sixth, including a two-run double by Berghammer, a two-run single by
Juan Gonzalez and a two-run home run by Timms.

The Bison had 11 hits in the game, including three by Berghammer and Timms' two.

OBU finished the night with a 6-2 win over Central Baptist to wrap up the pool play at 3-0.

Jinny Parra went the distance, striking out four in the seven-inning game.

OBU broke a scoreless tie in the top of the third on an RBI double by Cook and a two-run home run by
Kevin Olmeda.

The Bison went up 5-1 in the fifth on an RBI grounder by Olmeda and an RBI fielder's choice by
Zane Gelphman.
