SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist heads to Southeastern Oklahoma State for Friday and Saturday softball doubleheaders at Southeastern Oklahoma State.
 
The teams play at 2 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday, weather permitting.
 
One of the least-played series among the long-time softball programs, Southeastern leads Oklahoma Baptist 10-7 all-time. SOSU took three of four last year and left town with a 9-6 win for the current one-game win streak.
 
The Lady Bison are 19-24 overall and 11-22 in the Great American Conference.
 
The Lady Bison bat .274 as a team, led by freshman Cheyenne Demaree with a .359 batting average. Madison Vaughan leads the team with eight home runs and Demaree shares the team RBI lead with Bailee Saye at 19.
 
OBU has a 4.74 earned run average as a staff. Haylee Zimmerman leads the team with nine wins and a 4.09 earned run average. Saye leads the team with 98 innings of work.
 
The Lady Bison need three wins in the next 10 games to reach the NCCAA postseason.
 
Southeastern Oklahoma State has lost nine consecutive games to drop to 16-28 overall and 10-24 in the Great American Conference. They are 14-14 at home.
 
The Savage Storm hits .271 as a team, led by Destiny Riddle at .333 and 28 runs batted in. Mykaela Wallace has six of the team's 24 home runs.
 
Southeastern has a 4.40 team earned run average. Emily Cudd leads the team with 12 wins and a 3.74 earned run average. Symphoni Shomo leads the GAC with 23 stolen bases in 27 attempts. She also has scored 33 runs this season.
