SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist wraps up its rivalry series with Southern Nazarene with a 5 p.m. home doubleheader Tuesday at Lady Bison Park on Pack the Park Night.
 
Oklahoma Baptist leads the all-time series 51-48. The 99 games played thus far is second for OBU only to its now-discontinued Oklahoma City rivalry, which is 138 games old. The teams split a doubleheader at Southern Nazarene this season with OBU winning the opener 4-2 before losing 5-4 in eight innings.
 
Oklahoma Baptist is 17-24 on the season and 9-22 in Great American Conference games. The team has a .273 team batting average. Cheyenne Demaree leads the Lady Bison at .371. Demaree, Madison Vaughan and Sam Barry have seven home runs each. Bailee Saye leads the squad with 19 RBI.
 
OBU carries a team earned run average of 4.84, led by Haylee Zimmerman at 9-8, with 4.09 ERA and three saves. Saye leads the team with 49 strikeouts. Zimmerman has appeared in all but 14 games.
 
Southern Nazarene enters the doubleheader with the longest current winning streak in the Great American Conference with seven straight wins. The Crimson Storm is 19-27 overall and 15-19 in the GAC. The team has a .258 team batting average, led by Mahina Sauer at .381. Sauer, Sam Smith and Hannah LeBeau share the team home run lead with five each, with Sauer leading with 34 RBI.
 
SNU's team earned run average is 5.26, led by Katelyn Brown at 3.36. She leads the team with 148 strikeouts in 171 innings of work. She has appeared in 31 of 46 games.
 
Cheyenne Demaree was 2-for-2, including a three-run home run in the split at SNU. Shelby Savage and Miranda Garza had three hits each. Bailee Saye was 1-0 with a 2.80 earned run average. Mahina Sauer batted .667 with a home run and Riley Brown had four hits. Katelynn Brown got both decisions and a 2.80 ERA.
