ADA – Oklahoma Baptist rallied from four runs down and then held on for a 7-6 win at East Central Thursday.

The Tigers scored four times in the first inning but
Zach Fowler (3-1) finished with six innings of relief, allowing two runs (one unearned) late while racking up nine strikeouts.

The Bison tied the game with a four-run fourth, using an RBI single by
Brett Berghammer, a two-run triple by
Kevin Olmeda and a run-scoring error.

Berghammer doubled in the go-ahead run in the sixth and
Josh Timms smashed a two-run home run to left in the seventh.

The Bison amassed 12 hits in the game, with Berghammer getting a double and two singles, Olmeda a double and a triple, and Timms a home run and a double to go with three singles by
Dustyn Cook.

The Bison and Tigers meet again for a 1 p.m. doubleheader in Ada Friday.
