SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist moved its baseball series with Arkansas-Monticello back two days because of expected bad weather.

The teams will play a 2 p.m. game Sunday and finish the series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Monday.

Josh Timms leads the 9-8 Bison with a .382 batting average, a .603 slugging percentage and three home runs.
Zane Gelphman is the RBI leader with 23.
Zach Fowler has the top earned run average among starters at 1.44 while
Jace Wilkins, working out of the bullpen, has a 1.42 ERA. Fowler also leads in strikeouts with 33 and
Nick Burnham has held opposing batters to a team-best .129 batting average.

Brian Ray, who has been Great American Conference Player of the Week the last two weeks, leads Arkansas-Monticello with a .400 batting average and five home runs. Andres Rios leads the squad with 16 RBI. Grant Black leads the starting pitchers with a 2.90 earned run average while reliever Dawson Moser is 2-0 with two saves and no runs allowed. As a team, the Weevils bat .295 and carry a 4.90 ERA.
