SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist hosts a 2 p.m. doubleheader against Rogers State Tuesday in non-conference softball action. The game time was moved up in an attempt to avoid projected rain.
Rogers State is 20-11 on the season and hitting. 301 with a 2.58 earned run average as a team. Harli Ward is hitting .376 and Morgen Blanchard has been clutch with 28 RBI. De'Leigh Emarthle has supplied the power with 10 home runs in 73 at bats. Megan Roswell is 17-9 in the circle with a 2.58 earned run average.
OBU is 10-16 this season after securing a pair of wins Saturday over Arkansas Tech.
Jill Shipman leads the team with a .324 batting average.

Sam Barry lead the team with five home runs and 10 RBI each.
Haylee Zimmerman leads the pitching staff at 5-5 with a 3.82 earned run average. As a team, the Lady Bison are batting .257 and have a 5.46 earned run average. OBU is 7-7 at home this season and 7-1 in non-conference contests.
Oklahoma Baptist and Rogers State are square in the all-time series at 13-13. The Lady Bison and Hillcats formerly were members of the Sooner Athletic Conference. OBU won 5-0 in Claremore last season and owns a four-game win streak in the series, dating back to 2013. OBU had an 8-0 run rule win in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament that season.
