SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist's weekend series at Arkansas Tech has been moved to Saturday and Sunday because of expected rain on Friday.
 
The Bison and Wonder Boys play in Russellville, Arkansas, at 6 p.m. Saturday, followed by a noon doubleheader Sunday.
 
The Wonder Boys are 16-11 on the season and 12-3 in the Great American Conference. Arkansas Tech hits .265 as a team with a team earned run average of 4.32. Zach Klockowski leads the team with a .347 batting average, seven home runs and 29 runs batted in. The Wonder Boys have used 16 different pitchers this season with Kyle Wilson (3-0, 2.17 ERA) emerging as the ace. Quentin Bowling has three saves and a 1.42 ERA.
 
The Bison are 15-10 overall and 9-6 in the Great American Conference. OBU has been a decent road team, going 5-5 away from Ford Park. Josh Timms leads the team with a .367 batting average and three home runs. Zane Gelphman has a team-leading 30 RBI. Zach Fowler has a 2-1 record and 2.30 ERA. As a team, OBU is hitting .302 and carries a 3.63 ERA.
 
Jinny Parra leads the Bison with four wins this season and ties the school career record of 35 wins with his next pitching victory. That record currently is shared by David Hocking and Darrin Fowler (Zach Fowler's father). Hocking and Fowler both finished 35-13. Parra, for his career, enters the series at 34-9.
