SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist takes to the road for a tough three-game set at Southern Arkansas in Magnolia this weekend.
 
The teams start the series with a 3 p.m. doubleheader Friday before getting to the series finale at 1 p.m. Saturday.
 
The Muleriders sit in second in the Great American Conference at 5-1 to go with their 8-5 record in all games. They hit .289 as a team with a 4.42 earned run average. Trevor Rucker has a team-best .404 batting average and has three home runs and 11 stolen bases. Dalton Algiene has been the staff ace with a 3-1 record and a 1.17 earned run average.

Zach Fowler earned NCCAA Baseball Pitcher and GAC Co-Pitcher of the Week honors after his three-hit shutout against Henderson State. Fowler leads the Great American Conference with a 0.45 earned run average. He also leads the league in holding opposing hitters to a tiny .119 batting average. He is second in the league with 26 strikeouts.
