SHAWNEE – Chandler Rickey scored his career 1000
th point as Oklahoma Baptist fell to Arkansas-Monticello, 79-69.
 
Rickey became the 48
th member of the OBU men's basketball 1000-Point Club when he scored his 20
th point of the game, coming in the second half.
 
Rickey finished with a team-high 23 points, sinking nine of 14 field goal attempts.
 
Travon Moore followed with 15 points, 
Vladimir Nemcok kicked in 14 and 
Kevin Franceschi added 11.
 
"It's a great feeling. I would have rather got the win, but it's a good accomplishment," said Rickey. "It's a lot of hard work. The coaches (Doug and Kyle Tolin) we just played and our coaches (
Quinn Wooldridge and 
Kyle Hankins) put in a lot of time with me."
 
Jansen Hight snagged eight rebounds, Nemcok had seven assists and 
Steven Green collected three steals.
 
The Bison, now 7-18 overall and 4-17 in the Great American Conference, close out the season with Senior Day at 3 p.m. Saturday, taking on Southern Arkansas.
