Rickey Gets 42 in Finale

SHAWNEE – Chandler Rickey, who scored his 1000^th career points on Thursday, recorded the first 40-point game of OBU's NCAA era and the 23^rd such game in school history with his 42-point effort Saturday.
 
The Bison lost the game to Southern Arkansas, 96-88.
 
Rickey is the 14^th player to reach that 40-point mark. It was the first 40-point game since Aaron Abram in 2014. He finished the game with 17 field goals on 22 attempts and 10 rebounds. He was 6 of 8 from the free throw line and hit two three-pointers.
 
Steven Green scored 17 points in his final college game with Travon Moore and Vladimir Nemcok adding 11 each.
 
Nemcok had five assists and Rickey had three steals and four blocked shots.
 
It was the last game for seniors Green, Jansen Hight, Timotis Kuckailis and Kevin Franceschi.
