SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist endured its first loss of the season, 5-2, at the hands of Oklahoma Christian Friday at Bison Field.

Isaac Holt and Dory Duran had a pair of two-run home runs for the Eagles with the wind blowing out.

The Bison scored a run in the fourth on an RBI single by
Hunter Heath. OBU added another in the fifth on an RBI double by
Brett Berghammer.

OBU collected seven hits in the game, led by Berghammer with two.

Tyler Gibson, 0-1, took the loss, striking out six.
Zach Fowler pitched four scoreless innings of relief with seven strikeouts, scattering three hits.

The 2-1 Bison and 3-2 Eagles meet again Saturday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader in Oklahoma City.
