HTML Box Score) Oklahoma Baptist volleyball evened up the season series with Fort Hays State Saturday with a 3-1 (25-13, 22-25, 25-19, 25-11) victory at Lee Arena, on the campus of Washburn.

The Lady Bison (15-11) picked up their second straight win while wrapping up the final neutral court match of the regular season. This was the second match between the teams this year, with the Tigers (10-19) winning the first meeting in straight sets. The Lady Bison made the most of their opportunities Saturday, finishing with a .259 hitting percentage while limiting FHSU to .074 hitting for the match.

OBU started out hot, jumping out to a 10-point lead in the first set at 16-6 and going on to win by 12 to take a 1-0 set advantage on the road. After dropping the second set, the Lady Bison broke open a close game late in the third, closing on a 5-1 run behind three kills from
Mikayla Watson during the stretch. A huge 15-2 run midway through the fourth set gave OBU the victory over Fort Hays State.

Watson paced the Lady Bison with a double-double, picking up 17 kills and 14 digs while finishing with a .438 hitting percentage for the match.
Hayden Blair provided 52 assists, the most in a four-set match this season. Freshman libero
Kelsi Chavez had 20 digs and
Nicole Fleitman led the way with six block assists.

The Lady Bison wrap up their two-match Kansas road trip this afternoon, taking on Washburn in the second match of the Saturday doubleheader.Â
