SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist got a pair of touchdown passes from
Preston Haire and a touchdown run from
Isaiah Mallory in a 64-21 loss to Arkansas-Monticello Saturday at Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Athletic Complex.

OBU scored its first touchdown in the first quarter. Haire completed a pass to Stephen Turner of 15 yards to set up a 48-yard scoring run by Mallory with 3:33 left in the opening frame.
Luke Wendl added the first of his three extra points to pull the Bison to within 14-7.

Haire found
Cagney Roberson open and Roberson split the defense and out-ran defenders for a 75-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Turner made an athletic leaping catch in the end zone on a Haire pass from 13 yards out in the fourth quarter.

For the game, Haire completed 19 passes for 267 yards. Turner reeled in six passes for 73 yards and Roberson had 82 yards on three receptions.
Alex Lewis also caught three passes for 51 yards. Eight Bison had receptions in the game.

Mallory led five Bison rushers with 84 yards on 11 carries.

Josh Arnold registered 11 tackles with
Dante Foster getting nine stops. Jason lee and
Daniel Moniz had eight tackles each with Moniz grinding out 2.5 tackles for loss. Lee and
Myles Russell also had stops behind the lines while
Anthony Figueroa had an assisted tackle behind the line.
