SHAWNEE – One week after an air show played overhead, Oklahoma Baptist hosts the nation's top receiver when Arkansas-Monticello visits for Saturday's 1 p.m. football game.

The Boll Weevils' Jalen Tolliver leads NCAA Division II with eight scoring receptions and is the active leader in that category. Tolliver, in two prior games against OBU, has 21 catches and 356 yards receiving.

Cole Sears is second in the Great American Conference with 254.2 yards passing per game with 15 passing touchdowns. The Boll Weevils lead the GAC in total offense, getting 462.5 yards, 1181 (196 per game) of that on the ground. UAM is second only to Harding in the GAC in terms of time of possession, holding the ball 32:12 minutes per game.

The Bison defense is fueled by a strong showing from last week, holding Henderson State to two touchdowns.

OBU linebackers Joshua Redmond and Josh Arnold are tied for eighth in the GAC with 45 tackles each. Defensive backs Anthony Figueroa, Dante Foster and Jason Lee are also in the league's top 25 in tackles. Foster is eighth in the GAC with five tackles for loss.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Preston Haire has been on a strong pace the last two weeks – tying a school record with four touchdown passes at Southern Arkansas and establishing a new record last week with 32 completions against Henderson State.

The Bison are right behind Monticello in passing offense in third at 255.8 yards per game and have been more liberal is distributing the targets. Alex Lewis (28 receptions) and Stephan Turner (20 receptions) are both in the top 10 in the GAC. Fifteen different Bison have caught a pass this season offensively.

Isaiah Mallory is second in the GAC with 86.4 yards rushing per game and while the Weevils have been tough on passers, they allow 215.8 yards on the ground per game.

Live video will be streamed via OBUBison.com/Watch with Bison Radio Network coverage on the iHeart Network and locally on KGFF (AM 1450 and FM 100.9). The game also can be heard in Oklahoma City on El Patron FM 98.5 and in Tulsa on Chrome FM 93.5. Coverage begins with a 12:30 p.m. pregame show on the Bison Radio Network.
