SHAWNEE – After spending nearly the entire month on the road, Oklahoma Baptist men's soccer kicks off a five-match home stand against Harding at 7:30 p.m. on October 11, 2017 at the OBU Soccer Complex.

Oklahoma Baptist (4-5-1, 2-1 GAC) enters Thursday's contest riding a Great American Conference-best two-match win streak, and currently sits in second place. Harding (4-4-2, 3-0 GAC) sits in first place and is the only GAC school that's managed to beat OBU this season.

The Bison are coming off a dominant performance last week against Southern Nazarene where they scored a GAC record-tying eight goals, led by GAC Offensive Player of the Week
Luis Romero who had three goals and one assist. Oklahoma Baptist now leads the league in scoring with 22 goals, paced by
Thiago Dos Santos and Romero on four each.

On the defensive side, OBU has posted two clean sheets while owning a plus-.20 scoring margin.
Thomas Ackerknecht has taken over goaltending responsibilities over the last two matches, and has given up one goal on eight shots faced over that same span.

Harding has more shots than any GAC school this year, but is second in goals scored at 16 in 2017. Andre Cunha leads the team with five tallies this campaign. Michael Wasson owns a GAC-best 1.60 goals-against average and is third in the league with a .650 save percentage.
