WICHITA, Kan. – Oklahoma Baptist posted 45 NCCAA qualifying marks at the Wichita State Shocker Prelude Wednesday.

The Lady Bison had 25 qualifying marks and the OBU men added 20.

Devontrae Young qualified in the 60 meters at 7.10 and the 200 meters at 22.81.

Noah McGraw qualified in the 400 meters at 51.50.

OBU posted four qualifiers in the 800 meters with
Carlos James (2:00.15),
Matthew Giudice (2:00.55), Tommy Uglean (2:00.74) and
Sam Smith (2:00.91) making the cut.

Jacob Janzen (4:26.67) and
Nathan Crowson (4:28.66) qualified in the mile. Janzen also qualified in the 3000 meters at 8:53.92.

Cayden Spain (8.62),
Brandon Crowley (8.68),
Hayden Ashley (9.04) and
Andrew Worley (9.18) qualified in the 60 meter hurdles.

Worley and Ashley qualified in the high jump at 1.90 and 1.85 meters, respectively.

Spencer Lashley (4.36 meters) and Phillip Spess (4.06 meters) qualified in the pole vault.

Tanner Profice qualified in the long jump at 6.70 meters and
Jacob Cochran qualified in the shot put at 14.53 meters.

For the women,
McKae Mitchell and
Shariah Anderson qualified in the 60 meters at 7.97 and 8.16 seconds, respectively.

Mitchell (25.83),
Kya Barnes (26.06), Anderson (26.87),
Leah Molter (27.19) and
Ruth King (27.50) all qualified in the 200 meters.

Barnes (58.08) and Kyra Miller (1:01.98) qualified in the 400 meters.

Tesa Potter won in a qualifying time of 2:24.74 in the 800.

Kaylee Large won the mile with a qualifying mark of 5:17.57.

Emily Sechrist (10:38.72), Large (10:41.31) and
Sydney Lawrence (10:41.67) qualified in the 3000 meters.

Molter (8.82),
Lacey Herbert (9.44), Kim Mead (10:10) and
Carleigh Neal (10.32) had qualifying standards in the 60 meter hurdles.

Sydney Long cleared 1.53 meters to qualify in the high jump and 5.17 meters to qualify in the long jump. Mead also qualified in the long jump at 5.29 meters.

Tiffany Gardner qualified in the pole vault at 2.82 meters and
Carleigh Neal made the cut in the triple jump at 10.28 meters.

Brittany Poe (11.18) and Mead (10.71) qualified in the shot put.

Though relay teams don't have a qualifying standard in the NCCAA, OBU won the 4x400 in 4:01.68 with Mitchell,
JoziRose Mayfield, King and Barnes and the 4x800 in 9:57.30 with
Shimoya Currie, Miller, Potter and
Destinee Allen.

OBU returns to action Jan. 20 at Missouri Southern and Jan. 21 at Kansas State.
