Vicente Castillo has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon. This is the second time in his career that Castillo has been named the league's top offensive player for the week.

Castillo, a native of Peralta, Spain, earned the honor after helping Oklahoma Baptist to their first win over Oklahoma Christian, scoring two goals while also forcing a crucial error by the Eagles' defense that led to an own goal. Castillo took 10 shots last week, with three shots put on-goal. He held a shot percentage of .200 for the week.

Oklahoma Baptist returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 8 against Oklahoma City University at 7 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
