Bison Fall at MACU

OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian posted a 9-5 win over Oklahoma Baptist Tuesday despite issuing 11 walks.

OBU scored twice in the first inning on a two-run home run by Brandon Cuddy and tacked on two more on a two-run home run by Cody Ziegler.

MACU hung a seven-run third inning on Bison pitcher Blake Whitehead and Brad Adams and added two more in the fifth.

Ziegler walked with the bases loaded in the ninth for the final run, just ahead of a game-ending double play with the potential tying run at the plate.

OBU drops to 16-6 on the season with a three-game set with Northwestern Oklahoma State coming up Friday and Saturday at Bison Field.
