Oklahoma Baptist baseball belted Park University 14-3 and then edged Southwestern Christian 2-1 Friday at the Dallas Christian Round Robin.
Mike Gould (1-0) got the pitching win over Park, going four innings, while Brad Adams threw three perfect innings of relief. Gould had seven strikeouts and Adams three.
Brandon Cuddy had an RBI double and Cody Zeigler and RBI single in the first inning for a 2-0 lead. The Bison made it 5-1 in the second on two errors to go with an RBI single by Dustyn Cook and an RBI double by Kevin Olmeda.
Park cut the lead to 5-3 in the third but the Bison erupted for four in the top of the fourth with another RBI double by Olmeda and a three-run double by Hunter Heath.
Cuddy added an RBI single in the fifth and OBU scored four more in the seventh on RBI walks by Heath, Austin Whitaker and Felipe Gonzalez, along with an RBI fielder's choice by Ryan Joyce.
The Bison collected 12 hits, led by Heath and Cook with three each. Olmeda and Cuddy had two hits each.
Carson McPherson struck out seven in five innings of work and Trevor Ezell tossed two scoreless innings for a save in the second game.
OBU got both of its runs in the second on an RBI double by Joyce and an RBI single by Joseph Moran.
The Bison had six hits in the game, including two each by Moran and Cuddy.
OBU, now 4-1, completes its part of the Round Robin with a 10 a.m. game against Dallas Christian and a 3 p.m. contest against Park on Saturday.
