Full D2CCA All-America Release
CLEVELAND – Vicente Castillo was named Division II Conference Commissioners Association Men's Soccer All-America Honorable Mention, the D2CCA announced Wednesday.
Castillo becomes the first Bison in program history to earn All-America status since Oklahoma Baptist began the transition process to NCAA Division II.
The senior forward from Peralta, Spain, is the reigning two-time Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and led the Bison to their first regular season GAC championship this season. Castillo scored 13 goals, including five match winners, and registered six assists as OBU qualified for the NCCAA National Championship for the first time.
