SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist set a school record with 74 rebounds and cruised to a 108-36 win over Dallas Christian in the Lady Bison home opener Tuesday in the Noble Complex.

OBU had averaged 33.2 rebounds per game coming into the contest but Tuesday had 31 offensive rebounds and 43 defensive caroms to smash the old record of 66.

Dallas Christian shot 21 percent from the field to OBU's 41 percent.
Tasha Edge finished with a game-high 19 rebounds and came up two shy of Janett Vasquez's school record (21 vs. Claflin in the NAIA Tournament).

The game was never in doubt as OBU led 34-5 after the first quarter and 61-13 at halftime. The lead peaked at 74 points in the fourth quarter.

Six Lady Bison reached double figures and all 13 available players got on the scoreboard.
Katy Custer led the way with 21 points, including four three-pointers.
Lexi Williams added 17 points, followed by Edge with 13,
Aliyah White with 12,
Cameerah Graves with 11 and
Monae Smith with 10.

White joined Edge as a double-double performer with 10 rebounds.

Williams had six assists and Graves added five and three steals. Edge blocked four shots.
