Meet Guard Brantly Thompson

Brantly Thompson is a 6-4 shooting guard from Tuttle High School, where he is a senior under Coach Paul Meuser.

Thompson was Conference MVP and third-team All-State as a junior after leading his team to the State semifinals in Tuttle's first trip to the State Tournament.

"Brantly will bring to our guard spots the versatility that is so important in today's game," said Bison Coach Quinn Wooldridge. "He's got good size, is a good shooter and a capable ball handler. We want to get to the point where our perimeter players are interchangeable and Brantly fits that style perfectly. Kyle Hankins did a great job identifying guys that fit our vision for OBU basketball and then also during the recruiting process. We are excited about him being a Bison and look forward to what he will bring to the program in the NCAA II era!"
Recruited by Southern Nazarene and John Brown, Thompson said, "OBU seemed like the perfect fit for me."

The son of Richard and Ruth Thompson, Brantly is a member of the National Honor Society and is a Superintendant's Honor Roll.
