SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist starts its descent toward the football finish line with a two-game home stand which starts Saturday with Ouachita Baptist.

The Bison come in at 2-7 and looking to get back to the win column without some key players, who are missing with injury. The Tigers, 5-4, hope to stay above .500 in the top four of the GAC.

Six offensive and only four defensive players have started every game this year for the Bison and a few will drop off of that list against Ouachita. So far

Last year, Ouachita Baptist jumped out to a 21-0 lead and held off the Bison, 31-20. Neither team turned the ball over.
Isaiah Mallory led the Bison with 68 yards rushing and scored a touchdown.

Dezmond Stegall set school records with 25 completions and 332 passing yards at Southwestern Oklahoma State. He also now has the record for passes completed in a season and is two touchdowns shy of the passing touchdowns record.
